LCWR has added capacity to assist clients who are looking for career opportunities in white-collar professions throughout the New Orleans region. By integrating the existing efforts of our Job Counselors, who offer one-on-one career advice, with that of our Job Developer, who works closely with employers who are hiring in the community, we are able to better place clients with local companies.

LCWR’s standards for service are the same as for our blue-collar construction clients. We only help those that are interested in really helping themselves build a career of their choosing. A career is a long term commitment to a particular trade, craft, or profession. Careers are built through training and experience, hard work, dedication, and commitment to yourself and your employer.

Some of our past clients have gone on to find employment with both large and small companies throughout the region. These include Account Executives at local radio stations, Sales Managers in the maritime industry, and various positions in logistics.

Potential clients should contact their local Job Counselors to discuss career opportunities in their area. Counselors can also assist with updating resumes, cover letters, interview skills, and several other soft skills. If we do not currently have employment opportunities in a career field of your choice, our Job Developer may be able to work with you to develop leads in that industry.

There are many public and private services and organizations that can find you a job, but if you are interested in a career with good wages and benefits, safe working conditions, and career advancement, then LCWR will help you in your quest.
