LCWR is a non-profit project that is dedicated to providing employment services to those affected by Hurricane Katrina. With offices in New Orleans, Metairie, and Baton Rouge, we are able to serve many residents of south Louisiana.

LCWR has a special relationship with the Building and Construction Trades Department (BCTD) of the AFL-CIO, which offers employment and training opportunities to those interested in a construction career. BCTD unions offer their members industry leading wages and benefits, FREE training, and career mentorship. The BCTD Apprenticeship programs are designed to give a person the tools to break cycles of poverty and help them enter the middle class.
